Chris Dechert

Chris Dechert is a photographer who lives and works in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. He's a self-taught artist known for his black and white studies of architecture and cityscapes. He began work in the visual arts on movie sets. In that fast-paced environment he developed a sense of visual storytelling as well as the ability to spot the small but important details that help it to connect with the viewer. It’s that passion for detail that shapes the style and composition of his photography and gives each image his own unique perspective.
